Days Safari
Day one:
Drive out from the hotel after breakfast towards the
Ngamba Island. It is situated 23km southern of Entebbe.
It was established as a chimpanzee sanctuary when
19 chimps were relocated there. Currently it is home
to 39 orphaned chimpanzees. It consists of approximately
100 acres, 98 of which are forested and separated
from the visitors’ area by an electric fence.
By the time you reach the Island, the sanctuary staff
will be waiting to offer an informative talk and than
after you will have lunch which is prepared from the
Island. You will have time to relax at the island,
bird watching sunbathing, other wild life encounters
and even play some games. Then you will proceed to
the visitors’ platform to view the Chimps as
they feed and play at the same time. Then later proceed
to the boat to head back to Kampala. Then proceed
to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day Two:
After breakfast, in the morning, you will be picked
up and then guided to explore the treasures of Kampala
and Buganda Kingdom. Visit the Uganda Museum, National
Theatre, creative local arts and crafts at either
the craft village behind the National Theatre or along
Buganda road. Then Owino market which is the down
town of Kampala, The Bahai Temple which is the only
one in Africa of this recent universal religion and
philosophy. Have lunch in Kampala then proceed to
Makerere University which is one of the biggest and
main Universities in Africa. Drive to Namirembe Cathedral
for a panoramic overview of Kampala city centre. Kasubi
Tombs the burial grounds for the Kabakas (Kings) of
Buganda Kingdom, then the Kabaka’s Royal Palace
and office and other areas of cultural interest. Then
in the late afternoon transfer to Jinja for dinner
and overnight at Jinja Nile Resort or Kingfisher Safari
Resort.
Day Three: Back

In the morning after you have had a heavy breakfast,
try out the wonderful experience of the white water
rafting at river Nile which is a few kilometers from
the source of the Nile.
As quoted by Adrift Uganda,” The White Nile
makes the legendary Zambezi look small.
The roar of the rapids drifts upstream with the gentle
breeze and wooden canoes laden with excited locals
congregate in the calm waters anxious to see our rafts
in action.
Our rafts explode through huge walls of whitewater
and drift through warm green pools in the equatorial
sunshine. This is whitewater rafting at its best”
The team of professionals will organize you with proper
equipment and you will have packed lunch.
OR
Go Flat Water Canoeing which is totally a different
experience and one which you should not miss on River
Nile. You will enjoy the quiet of the waters and know
the quiet times of day. Fishing, bird watching, is
all encouraged. You will drift past the island colonies
of cormorants, storks and weaver birds and fish eagles.
This is a trip for everyone including children of
all ages.

Bungee Jumping (44 meters), Being the latest step
in Bujagali’s development as East Africa’s
answer to the more southerly adventure-activity capital
of Victoria Falls is 44m bungee jump. Leap from one
of the most spectacular sites in the World. Water
touch the source of the Nile (It is the only jump
over the Nile), tandem jump with a friend or ride
off on your bicycle
Later in the day visit the source of the Nile plus
Jinja town, with its colorful gardens and Asian colonial
style. Spend the evening relaxing at the hotel, then
dinner and overnight.
Day Four: Back

Depart from Jinja early morning via Kampala. Have
a stop over at Mabira forest for an early morning
primate viewing, and then drive towards the northern
part of Uganda to Murchison falls through the districts
of the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi. Enjoy the
view of the traditional farms and villages. Lunch
en-route probably Luwero or Masindi town, drive to
the park through Budongo forest on the western arm
of the Great Rift Valley, arrive at the park then
proceed to either to Paraa safari Lodge, Nile safari
Camp or Red Chilli camp for dinner and overnight.
Day Five:
Spend the morning relaxing at the lodge you can go
for a swim in the pool. Then after lunch go for a
two-hour launch trip up to the bottom of the mighty
Murchison falls where appalling water escapes from
the narrow gorge, an opportunity to see the amazing
hippos giving you the best of their yawns, crocodiles
as they laze around the sun, an impressive bird life
is also found here including the rare shoebill stork
and a number of other animals. Then return to the
Lodge to relax for a few minutes then proceed for
an evening game drive, return to the lodge for dinner
and overnight.
Day Six: Back

After an early cup of coffee, transverse in the northern
part of the park for a game drive.
You will be able to view Elephants, Cape Buffaloes,
Bushbucks, Lions, Uganda Kob, Giraffes and a variety
of bird species. View Crocodiles as they laze around
in the sun and hippos giving you the best of their
yawns. An impressive bird life is also found here
including the rare shoebill stork, and a number of
other animals. After proceed to the lodge- check out
then proceed to the top of the spectacular falls where
you will also have your picnic lunch from with a scenic
view of the falls. You will be able to see the Nile’s
perfected beauty and marvel as it compresses itself
from over a 1 kilometer wide and crashes down through
a 6 meter Gorge to a 43 meter fall which creates a
thunderous roar band a beautiful rainbow in plume
of spray! Return to Kampala late evening and proceed
to the hotel for dinner and over night. |
