JINJA
TOUR
Jinja Town is located on the northern shores of Lake
Victoria above the Ripon falls. Previously, the industrial
capital of Uganda, the town is one of Uganda’s
largest towns and lies about 80km east of Kampala over
looking the point where the Nile flows out of Lake Victoria
and probably it is the Nile that is attracting more
people than the town itself. With the Owen Falls Dam,
located just down stream from the source of its 4000
mile journey to the Mediterranean from Lake Victoria,
join us to see the source of the Nile and the surrounding
environments.
Depart from Kampala, heading east to Jinja passing
coffee, tea, sugar plantations and colorful roadside
fruit/ vegetable markets. Make the first stop at Mabira
Forest to see primates, birds and butterflies. Proceed
to the Owen Falls Dam and the submerged source of
the Nile. Lunch in Jinja town and afternoon tour to
the Bujagali Falls; spend the afternoon relaxing at
the falls where several rapids are situated together.

White Water Rafting

Flat Water Canoeing
This is a totally different experience and one which
you should not miss on River Nile. You will enjoy
the quiet of the waters and know the quiet times of
day. Fishing, bird watching, is all encouraged. You
will drift past the island colonies of cormorants,
storks, and weaver birds and fish eagles.This is a
trip for everyone including children of all ages.
Bungee Jumping
Being the latest step in Bujagali’s development
as East Africa’s answer to the more southerly
adventure-activity capital of Victoria Falls is 44m
bungee jump. Leap from one of the most spectacular
sites in the World. Water touch the source of the
Nile (it is the only jump over the Nile), tandem jump
with a friend or ride off on your bicycle
