ENTEBBE
TOUR (HALF / FULL DAY TOUR)
Entebbe is one of the oldest towns where
the official residence of Uganda’s Head of State
is located and also the gate way to Uganda as it houses
the main International Airport. Situated south of Kampala
(37kms) and lying on the shores of Lake Victoria with
a comfortable climate throughout the year, Entebbe’s
scenic splendour provides sufficient incentive to pay
the town a visit.
It has attractive sites like the Uganda Wildlife Centre
(the zoo) which is a research centre as well as a place
to show off the many animal species Uganda offers like
rhinos, buffaloes, lions, crocodiles and many more.
Relax at the various beach Resorts or play golf at the
Garuga golf course which forms part of the tourism facilities
this region has to offer and more so, witness traditional
fishing methods at various fishing sites like Kasenyi.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of another must see place
not far away from the Wildlife Centre which is the 2.6
sq .kilometre spread of Botanical gardens. These gardens
remain the major point of attraction for bird lovers
and forest walkers. In addition to the obvious flora,
the gardens house abundant wildlife particularly black
and white colobus monkeys and squirrels.

and delight.
