DAY Safari Tour
Day One
Drive early morning towards the west from Kampala
and have a stopover at the equator for photographs.
Proceed to Lake Mburo National Park and a game drive
en-route may be rewarded with Zebras, Leopards and
a variety of Antelope species. Arrive late afternoon
then proceed to Mantana Tented Camp for dinner and
overnight.
Day Two
After a very early cup of coffee, have an early game
drive where you will able to view Impalas, Antelopes,
Bushbuck, Defassa waterbuck, Buffalos and many more.
You will have a chance of seeing different species
of birds including acacia-associated birds, bare-faced
go-away birds and also the Ruppell’s long-tailed
starling and many more. Then proceed to the camp.
After lunch go for a boat trip where you will able
to view crocodiles, hippopotamus and birds like pelicans,
black crake, heron, cormorant and fish eagle and you
are likely to see the shoebill stork. Then proceed
to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day Three Back

After breakfast, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National
Park; arrive at the Lodge in time for lunch. Relax
for a few hours at Mweya Lodge which is beautifully
situated on a bluff overlooking the Kazinga Channel
and Lake Edward, then go for an evening game drive
where you will be able to view some of the game the
park has to offer; Giant Forest Hogs, Cape Buffalos,
Elephants, Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Elephants, Lions
and many more. Proceed to the Lodge for dinner and
over night.
Day Four Back

Have an early game drive in the park to view more
of the game that the park offers. Then lunch at the
Lodge, after enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on
the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes
through possibly the highest hippo concentration in
Africa and many mammals may be seen drinking at the
water’s edge. The cruise offers an excellent
platform for photography and game viewing. The bird
life is colorful and abundant. Immediately after the
cruise proceed for a scenic nature drive through the
park to the crater lakes of Katwe as well as the salt
mines of Lake Katwe. After the nature drive proceed
back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day Five Back

Spend half the morning at the Lodge; have breakfast
at leisure. After proceed to Kyambura Gorge where
you are likely to see a community of Chimpanzees and
the lush savannah where one can view more of the water
birds in particular flamingo that are attracted to
the lovely crater lakes found in the Gorge and others.
The riverine forest at the Gorge offers home to Chimpanzees,
black and white Colobus and red-tailed Monkeys, Olive
baboons and other primates as well as plenty of forest
birds. A guided nature walk into the Gorge offers
a great chance to track habituated chimps in their
natural habitat. Preferably have a picnic at the Gorge
that will help you relax after the nature walk. Then
later proceed to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day Six Back

After an early breakfast, set off for Gorilla tracking
(either Parc National des Virungas or Mgahinga Gorilla)
found in the southwest, bordering Rwanda and Congo.
Have lunch on the way probably Kisoro then arrive
late afternoon at Nkurungu Safari Lodge formerly known
as Mgahinga Safari Lodge. Spend the rest of the afternoon
relaxing at the Lodge, dinner and over night.
Day Seven
After a very early breakfast, drive out from Nkurungu
Safari Lodge towards the Virungas or Mgahiga. After
tracking proceed to the lodge for lunch. Then spend
the evening relaxing at the lodge, then dinner and
overnight.
Day Eight Back

After an early breakfast, set off for Kabale and have
a breather at the Arcadia cottages and then go for
canoe trips on the lake, scenic walks which can be
rewarded with the opportunity to see the local people
and their way of life and dances too, or bird watching
depending on the energy levels with an interval for
lunch and relax late evening at the scenic cottages.
Day Nine
Have breakfast and quick morning activity like bird
watching or swimming, and then set off for Kampala
with a stopover at Mbarara for lunch. Arrive in Kampala
early evening. Proceed to the hotel for dinner and
overnight.
Day Ten Back

It’s a free day to go for shopping mainly in
the different craft centers that Kampala has to offer,
have lunch, and then later proceed to the airport
for your flight depending on the flight schedule.
